Grab your glow sticks...We're taking over downtown Dawsonville, GA for a 5K when the lights go out...and it's going to be great!
Mark your calendar for Friday March 23 at 8:00 pm. We have a great 5K course filled loads of music & Glow. It'll be loads of fun, and If you're interested in going fast, we'll have awards for that too (Overall M/F, Master's Overall M/F, and the top 3 in all the usual age groups 10 & Under - 75+).

Event Beneficiary
The event is being organized by the Dawson County Schools' Wellness Program. The goal of the event is to promote student health awareness. This will be a free event for all Dawson County School students. All other registration fees will go toward covering the cost of the event.
Entry Fees
Dawson County students can all come out and run for free! Students can purchase a T-shirt for $10. All other participants are required to pay a $25 registration fee which will include a T-shirt. Race day registrations are welcome for $5 more.
Course, Timing, & Event Cap
The Let's Glow 5K course is fast and fun! There are a couple of easy hills, and there will be lots of people to cheer you on to the finish line! We will be chip timing everyone, so if you're looking for a PR, you should get a great net chip time.
There is an event cap. 1500 participants is all we can have and still guarantee everyone a safe, good time.

Shirts & Goodies
All participants registered by March 18th are guaranteed a race shirt (that's going to glow too) in their size (yes, we will have women's cuts). Any registrations after March 18th will receive a shirt while supplies last.
Awards
Custom awards will be presented in the following areas: top overall male and female participant, top masters overall male and female participant, as well as the top 3 in each of the usual 5K age groups (10 & under - 75+).

Five Star 5K Championships & Turkey Trot
All participants earn a free entry to the Five Star Turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning. Top finishers will also earn a spot in the Five Star 5K Championships held in December. See event website for complete details.
