Ruby Slipper Cafe - 5K and 1/2 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Event Details: 

8:00 am - 1/2 Mile Fun Run/Walk
8:20 am - 5K Mid City Run/Walk
7:00 am - Race day packet pickup and registration opens on site 

Location is in the parking lot accessed from Banks Street ,  setup in back green space lot behind the Cafe.
Parking:   In the Ruby Slipper parking lot til it fills up ( entry via Banks Street ) or in nearby off street parking spaces. 


Course:  5K and 1/2 Mile is posted on our website:  www.NOLArunning.com

 

T-Shirts:  Register prior to race day to get your inaugural  Ruby Slipper Run/Walk t-shirt  ( sizes available include Youth Medium , Youth Large, Adult Small thru XX-Large )  

Custom commemorative Ruby Slipper 5K medallions to the first 500 finishers and medallions to all youth age division in the half-mile. 

Overall and Age group awards:   

  • Ruby Slipper 5K: 1st overall and 1st , 2nd place in Age group divisions:  10-under thru 80-over 
  • 5K Race Walkers - Top 3 overall male and female
  • Ruby Slipper Half-Mile:   Completion medallions to all youth ( age 15-under ) finishers 

Entry fees:   
$30.00 by February 10th,  $35.00 by Feb 23rd,  $40.00 on the day of race    ( Division age 18-64 )

$20.00 by Feb 23rd, $25.00 on day of race ( Youth 17-under and Senior 65-over division ) 
* Proof of age required for youth , seniors at packet pickup

Family registration: 2 adults and 2 youth age 17-under. $60.00 by Feb 23rd , $70.00 on day of race
