This is an event for everyone, including Dogs! Completing the one mile walk earns you (or your four-legged friend if you choose to bring your pup) a medal of their own. The 5k race, on the campus of Clemson University featuring the gorgeous Dikes Trail of Lake Hartwell will have awards for overall, age group and team winners. Additionally, top individual and team fund raisers will receive special recognition at the post-race awards. The dog walk kicks the event off at 8:15 am and the full schedule for Puppies and Patriots is detailed below.
Veterans and their service dogs will be in attendance as special guests of honor. Please register for the races, attend in person to support the charities or sponsor a runner to make this inaugural event a day to remember!
