Why I'm riding and raising money for Parkinson's...
I want to help kick Parkinson's disease in the butt! Once again I'm riding 100km on gravel in the Growling Beaver Brevet - to raise money to allow people to live well with Parkinson's. As some of you know my good friend Shelby Hayter has everyday struggles with this disease. I figure I can suffer on one long hard gravel bike ride to remind me what she goes through daily. Please help me to help people like Shelby live as well as she can with Parkinson's!
Description
The Growling Beaver Brevet made its debut in 2015 to celebrate cycling and to help people with Parkinson's to live well today. All fundraising proceeds will go to support the joint work of the Davis Phinney Foundation and Parkinson Wellness Project (formerly ParkinGo Wellness Society).
