Bellyak for a Cause Race

THE DEATS:

• This race is for ALL LEVELS of ability and athleticism.
• The race will start at the Hominy Put-In (shuttle provided) and follow the French Broad to the Carrier Park putin (approximately 1 mile).
• Want to try the Bellyak first to see how awesome and easy it is? Come find us by the river for Demos that will be occurring on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the warm hours. We will be also helping with the GreenWorks Cleanup that morning starting at 10am.

PROCEEDS:

• A portion of proceeds will go to Our Voice Asheville. Our Voice’s mission is in the pursuit of a community that is free of sexual violence and serves all individuals in Buncombe County affected by sexual assault and abuse, through counseling, advocacy, and education.

PRIZES:

• Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 racers of each category.

Deadline to signup for the race on-line is 5:30PM, Friday, May 25th.

Price per paddler is $12 for preregistration and $15 for day of registration.
