Old Town 5K

Join us for the 2nd Annual
Old Town 5K
in Old Town Leander

This chip timed event starts in the Heart of Old Town and tours through the streets of Leander. The certified course is flat and fast with no hills or rough terrain. The post-race festival will include children’s activities, adult beverages/wine tasting, food trailers, and music. This 5k run will have limited participation, so sign up early to ensure you can join us for this exciting event.

Details

COURSE: The USATF certified course is mostly flat & fast and is ideal for a personal best. The race will begin and finish at 100 N. Brushy St. in Old Town Leander.

SWAG: Every 5K entrant will receive a high quality shirt of his/her choice and Old Town $5 in food and beverage tokens.

PACKET PICK UP: Race packets can be picked up at the Leander Chamber of Commerce from 8AM-5PM May 16-17 & 8AM-noon on May 18. And at 7:30am on race day.

PRIZES: The 5K awards ceremony will follow the completion of the race with a first place gold medal awarded to the top finisher in each age categories (0-12, 13-19, 20-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-64, 66+) for male and female.

Every racer will receive a medal as they cross the finish line.

PARKING: Parking is available in the LISD parking lots surrounding Old Town and along the streets of Old Town.

NOTE--For easy access to the lots follow these directions. From Crystal Falls Parkway, turn onto S. West Drive. Follow S.West Drive North towards Old Town. Lots will be on your right and left as you get close to Old Town. These lots are not accessible from 183.
