2k walk/5k race raises support for nonprofit and community causes
RUN FOR IT is a 2k (1.2M) walk and USATF- certified 5k (3.1M) race around the scenic mountain town of Davis, WV during Leaf Peepers Festival. Raise funds and awareness for community organizations, projects, nonprofit agencies, educational activities, and charities located within the Foundation’s service area. Speed is not required to win.
Racers - Racers are encouraged to enter online through RaceRoster. Pre-registration opens April 1 and closes on September 15. After September 15, racers may enter race onsite on Friday September 28 from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday September 29 (Race Day) from 8-9:30 a.m. Racers unable to enter online may download an ENTRY FORM.
Teams - Team Captains must register teams with TEAM REGISTRATION FORM before August 31. Team registrations can be sent by mail, in person, email, or by fax. form. Each team represents a charitable non-profit cause. Anyone can sign up for any team. Team members do not have to walk or run together.

Team Sponsors - To see more information on the team cause or to make a donation sponsoring a team click the team's name in the left sidebar or select a team from this drop-down menu.
Race Sponsors - Race sponsor donations fuel the race and support charitable causes. Race sponsors receive maximum exposure throughout the campaign. Build the Purse!
Merchandise Sales - Click REGISTER and follow prompts to purchase merchandise without registering for the race. Merchandise can also be purchased along with race registration. Merchandise pre-orders will not be available after September 8, there will be a limited amount of T-shirts available for sale on race day.

Use this option if you would like a T-shirt but are not racing or if you have already registered or used a paper entry form. Multiple orders and styles are available. T-shirt orders must be made before September 8.

There will be a limited number of t-shirts available for sale on race day.
With respect to merchandise sales: Tucker Community Foundation is not responsible for merchandise that is not picked up on race weekend. Mailing is not an option, sorry!

September 28 5:00 PM EDT - Friday night racer check-in /registration at Fire Hall, Davis, WV begins
