Run Lizard Creek 8k Obstacle Run has over 30 obstacles, water, rugged terrain, and PLENTY of MUD. This will be a timed event, but the main thing is to have FUN. The Elite wave will start things off at 8:00 (must be at least 18 to run in Elite wave), and end up with the Kids Race for ages 8 thru 13 (kids race is 2.5 miles). Run Lizard Creek is located approx. 5 miles South of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas. Come and run, climb, swing, slip and slide through this obstacle packed course!

Every participant in the kid’s race MUST have a parent or legal guardian present to sign waiver, and go through the course with them. Parent or guardian must stay with them at all times. The parent or guardian does not pay entrance fee to go with your child in the Kids race.

Waves of participants will start in 15 minute increments in the 2nd thru 9th waves. The Elite Wave is the first wave of the day and is set aside for those to run the race individually and complete all obstacles successfully and under the Elite Wave Rules.
1st Wave (Elite Wave) start 8:00 AM course length 5 miles
2nd Wave start: 9:00 AM- course length 5 miles
3rd Wave start: 9:15 AM -course length 5 miles
4th Wave start: 9:30 AM- course length 5 miles
5th Wave start: 9:45 AM -course length 5 miles
6th Wave start: 10:00 AM- course length 5 miles
7th Wave start: 10:15 AM- course length 5 miles
8th Wave start: 10:30 AM- course length 5 miles
9th Wave start: 10:45 AM -course length 5 miles

DAY OF EVENT INSTUCTIONS:
- Gates will open at 7:00 am on the day of the event.
- If you have PRE-REGISTERED go to areas marked “CHECK-IN”
- Present ID
- Review and sign wavier. Check-in will go MUCH faster if you print and bring waiver with you.
- Pick up timing chip, and racing bib

What you should bring:

- Signed waiver
- Change of clothes, trash bag to put muddy clothes in
- Cash for food or merchandise
- Lawn chair to sit back and watch the runners
What NOT to bring:
- Guns, knives, or weapons of any kind
- Alcohol
- Illegal drugs
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Parking is available onsite for no extra charge
- Spectator charge: $5.00 which will be a donated to HEROES R&R
- Spectators are not allowed out on the course
- An electronic timing device will be used to time you as you go through the course, remember to secure the device and wear your race bib with number displayed.
RULES AND SAFETY:
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian
- Participants must by physically able to attempt the course and obstacles
- No one will be allowed to race or be out on the course without appropriate arm band
- Registration is closed when the maximum capacity is reached
- No alcoholic beverages may be brought on site
- Participants must abide by all instructions given from the race director, race staff, volunteers and medical personnel.
- Obstacles on the Run Lizard Creek course may be hazardous. It is the responsibility of the participant, or parent or guardian to notify course officials if the participant feels their safety is in danger or they are injured.
- Every Participant, or parent or legal guardian of participant MUST read and sign the Run Lizard Creek Waiver.
