Welcome to the 1st Annual George E. Peters 5K Spring Run/Walk. G.E. Peters is a wonderful school in Hyattsville "dedicated, inspired and passionate" to providing an excellent education. The race will be held at Watkins Park, Upper Marlboro. Registration begins at 7am, and the race will start at 8am.
Our school is growing and we are in the process of expanding and renovating our school building, including an improvement to G.E Peter’s play area to fit the needs of all of our students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade.Giving them a safe place to release and learn through play!
The 5K initiative was created by The Home and School Association of G.E. Peters Adventist School to support the building fund of our amazing school.The run is a community effort. While it is a 5K, there will be the option of a 3K run or walk. It will be a day of fitness and fun!
The registration is $10 for children 15 and under and seniors 65+, and adults and older children $30. Free t-shirts for the first 50 children signed up.

All donations are fully tax deductible and will go towards improving the educational experiences of the children of George E. Peters Adventist School.
Helen Keller quoted, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” Fundraising is more than just raising money because giving is not just about making donations, it’s about making a difference.
