Hauser Lake 5k/10k Icebreaker

RUN FOR A CAUSE!

Join us for this fun, annual 5k and 10k run around beautiful Hauser Lake on Sunday, April 8th, 2018. The 10k course is USA Track & Field Certified, this race is also a Bloomsday Second Seed Qualifier. This event benefits the special needs dogs in the care of Double J Dog Ranch located in Hauser. Get your registration in now and share this event with all your running friends and clubs! Thanks, we look forward to seeing you all again this year!

Make sure to register early for the best rate, to guarantee your shirt size and to receive a custom bib with your name printed on it. Cut off date for the custom bib is March 16th.

Course Description

This is a scenic, FAST COURSE that follows the road around beautiful Hauser Lake.

Awards

Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for the top three finishing women, men, chairs and kids 13-17 and 0-12.

First place woman, man, chair and kids will also receive gift cards.

Post Race Activities

Medal ceremony at 11:30 in the park. Enjoy snacks, coffee and meet some of the Double J dogs that your participation is supporting!! Waddell's Brewing Company will be there! Following this, Embers By The Lake will again this year be hosting an after event party! Best brick oven pizza on the planet right here at Hauser Lake! So much fun that you don't want to miss this party!

Weather

This is a Spring run, can be chilly so dress accordingly.

Directions

Highway 53 to Hauser. Turn onto Hauser Lake Road. Stay on Hauser Lake Road for approx. 1.25 miles until you reach Fay Street. Turn right onto Fay Street at the Fire Station and you have arrived at the event.

Parking

Parking on Fay Street in front of the park, overflow goes into the field on the west side of Fay Street. There will be volunteers directing parking. Please do not park in the boat launch area.
