Run for your father, your husband, your brother, your friend. Run for you! Join The Urology Center of Colorado (TUCC) Foundation for the ninth annual Blue Shoe Run for Prostate Cancer on Saturday, September 8, 2018!
The Blue Shoe Run is a 5K run/walk, 1.5-mile family walk and kids fun run taking place just north of Mile High Stadium at TUCC. Team up with your family, friends, and co-workers to try out our unique course and encourage others to help you fundraise to stomp out prostate cancer.
The course is back to the original route! We had received information that the course would be flipped but it is now back to the same route it has been in previous years. Please see the course map here. The course distance remains unchanged.
Since 2010, The Blue Shoe Run has raised more than $500,000 for TUCC Foundation. Please join us in the continuing efforts to raise monies for Prostate Cancer Research. Let's Stomp our Prostate Cancer together!
Online registration will close at noon on September 7th, but you can also register at TUCC on Saturday, September 8 beginning at 7 a.m.
Team registrations close at noon on Friday, August 31st.
Early packet pickup for teams and individuals will be on September 4th and 5th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at TUCC.

Registration Discounts
Registration discounts for seniors are available and will be taken when registering for The Blue Shoe Run. Seniors ages 65 and older are eligible for the 5K and 1.5 Mile Family Walk discounts. Registrants for the Blue Warriors and Veterans team remain at $20.00 throughout the registration time.
Team Up to Stomp Out Prostate Cancer!
Team up with your family, friends, co-workers and others to create your 2018 Blue Shoe Run team! A minimum of 10 people are needed to comprise a team. Prizes will be distributed among the three largest teams and most spirited Blue Shoe Run teams on race day. Team Captain, please take a look at the Team Captain Toolkit link below the picture!
All teams with at least 50 members will receive their own team tents on race day. The first team to reach 25 participants will receive its own Little Shoe tent.The first Blue Shoe Run team to reach 50 participants will be recognized with The Big Blue Shoe tent on September 8. Food and drinks will be available in this Tent area on the west side of the TUCC parking lot.
Spirit up your team with great outfits, team t-shirts - whatever proclaims your message about Prostate Cancer!
How to set up a team:
- The team captain must register 1st and name the team.
- For teams that have their registration paid by someone else the Team Captain needs to arrange for a Team Code with the Race Director prior to registering even themselves. Contact Martha 303-910-2233 mruschival@tucc.com
- Once you have named the team, registered yourself, and set up your code (if needed) - you are ready to send your team invitation emails or call.
Packet Pick Up
Teams and individuals who register before Friday August, 31st at noon, are eligible for early packet pickup. Packet pickup will take place at TUCC, 2777 Mile High Stadium Circle, Denver, CO 80211, in the first floor lobby on:
Wednesday, September 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 5th, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
