Holiday Inn Express Dr. Kim Armstrong Turkey Trot


Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express Dr. Kim Armstrong Turkey Trot

Publicly launched in 2005, the  Holiday Inn Express Dr. Kim Armstrong Turkey Trot is held in honour of Kim Armstrong, a Pembroke local and chiropractor, who passed away in 2005, after suffering from a stroke. Featuring a 5KM walk/run & 10KM run, children’s obstacle course, silent auction, prizes and a pre-registration Spaghetti Dinner held at the Holiday Inn Express, families across Renfrew County look forward to the annual fall event!

Proceeds from this year’s Turkey Trot will fund upgrades and replace equipment in the Surgical Department and help support the Pembroke Regional Hospital Orthopedics Program (new as of January 2017).

Holiday Inn Express Pembroke also invites you to the (optional) Spaghetti Dinner, Race Kit Pick-Up, and Advance Registration

Families (of 4-6 immediate family members) will receive 25% off registration. Use promo code "FAMILY

Commit to taking pledges for your Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation and receive FREE registration. Use promo code "PLEDGE". 

On Race Day, if $200 in pledges has not been collected, you are responsible to cover your registration. Any registration fees paid prior to collecting pledges will not be refunded. 

Large groups (of 7-15 people) should contact us directly to receive the group special ($150 group registration or free for $400 in group pledges).

Early birds who register by Tuesday, August 7th will be entered for a chance to win an Apple Watch Series 3 sponsored by Roy & Associates
Everyone who raises pledges will be entered for a chance to win an Apple Watch Series 1.
FREE registration for anyone who raises minimum $200 in pledges.

  • At the Pre-Race Day Spaghetti Dinner/Advanced Registration
    • Date: Friday, September 28th, 4-7pm
    • Location: Holiday Inn Express Pembroke at 8 International Drive, Pembroke (The official Hotel of the Turkey Trot)
    • Price: Adults $10; children 6 & under $5 (Either pre-pay online during registration or pay the day-of)
    • Please note: Advanced Registration and Race Kit Pick-up is free; payment is for the Spaghetti Dinner only
  • Or Race Day
    • Date: Saturday, September 29th between 8-9am
    • Please note: Kits must be picked up by 9am on Race Day
