Our story…
A little over a year ago our little family was blessed with a beautiful little miracle boy, Gabriel; however, his entrance into this world was one that parents-to-be would NOT hope for. Our beautiful baby boy was born via emergency c-section with a very low heart rate and not breathing. Shortly after birth he was transferred to the BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, where we followed shortly thereafter once mommy was stabilized enough to travel. Gabriel is a fighter though and spent only 13 days in the NICU after passing a number of tests (a LONG 13 days for mommy and daddy though). During that time we felt so fortunate to have YANA as support so we could be with our baby boy and not worry about all the little things you don’t think of in times like that and we could focus solely on our Gabriel.
Our goal is to raise funds to give back to this great Comox Valley Organization that helped us out.
