Help Kathleen D raise money

Most of you know I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer stage 3C clear cell in December of 2016. I will be participating the 11th annual Let’s ROC 5K Run for Ovarian Cancer on September 16, 2018 in Sacramento, CA. My brother Stephen and nephew Talsen will be running with me. The main focus of this race is to raise money to find a preventive screening test for ovarian cancer; currently there is no preventive screening test for OC. Imagine if we did not have an early screening test for breast, colon, or prostate cancer? We have to find a better screening test for ovarian cancer. I had debulking surgery and four months of grueling IV and IP chemotherapy. If I had been diagnosed earlier my treatment would have been less invasive and my chances of recurrence would be much lower.I have 80% of recurrence I am glad I am here but let’s help other woman get detection earlier.
