Lighthouse Tour |
12-18 October 2018 |
Come ride with us on our inaugural 6 day and 6 night Lighthouse Tour as we visit New Smyrna Beach, St. Augustine, and Fernandina Beach. We will see America's second tallest lighthouse in Ponce Inlet and discover the Sugar Mill Ruins with their traditional coquina construction.
We'll ride through historic St. Augustine where we will visit the stunning Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States. Next, we'll ride to the "haunted" St. Augustine lighthouse. Many have reported hearing eerie footsteps and seeing shadowy figures on the stairs, you will have the opportunity to find out for yourselves if the rumors are true.
From there we'll head to Fernandina Beach where we will have a guided tour of the Amelia Island Lighthouse. After that we'll ride out to to the Civil War Era Fort Clinch to explore the grounds and step back in time to a pivotal moment in American history.
Prepare to be blown away by miles of dramatic coastline and fascinating history as we explore Florida's First Coast on Bike Florida's Lighthouse Tour!

Touring in Rural Florida
Rustic Hotels and Limited Food Choices
Please understand that some of our hotels will be more rustic than others, and that sometimes there will be limited food choices for those on special diets. We are taking you to rural Florida, and if you are a picky eater this tour may not be the one for you.
"Relaxed" Itinerary
The pace of life is slow in rural Florida, so be prepared for the schedule to not always go as planned. Because of our large group service at meals can take longer than you are used to and there will be a lot of "going with the flow". Please keep this in mind when choosing this tour. While we think it's great to take a break from our hectic schedules, some people do not find this an enjoyable way to spend their vacation. In other words, if you are someone that prefers to stick to a tight schedule you may not want to sign up for this tour.
