HOW DOES IT WORK?
Everyone is given a map of 8 Challenge Locations.
When the race starts individuals and teams make their way to each of the Challenge Locations and complete the Challenges.
The quickest individuals and teams to return to the finish line after completing all the challenges win.

RUNNING ROGUE FAQS
DO I NEED TO REALLY BE IN SHAPE? The Challenge is designed to be fun for all ages and ability levels. You can choose your speed, whether it’s a sprint from location to location, or a walk. The most important element for success is a winning strategy, so individuals and teams with more brain than brawn can actually be quite successful! In total, an ideal challenge route between locations will take you between 3.0 - 3.5 miles.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? All ages are welcome, but anyone under 18 needs a responsible party 18 or over on their team.
DO TEAMS NEED TO FINISH TOGETHER? Yes, teams need to stay together and finish together. Each person on a team MUST complete at least 2 of the 8 challenges so pick who completes each challenge wisely.
WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES? Challenges and maps will be revealed on race day. There will be physical challenges that include climbing, crawling, and carrying. There will also be puzzles and brain games, as well a challenges that require you to make or build something and eat something interesting :).
DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGES IN ORDER? You can complete the challenges in any order. When you get your map, you decide the route to take to each location and in what order you want to complete the challenges. This is where you can strategize to minimize your distance and potential wait time at a location.
WILL THE ROADS BE CLOSED? Roads will not be closed. You will be running on open roads so please follow the rules of the road when running or walking on city streets. You will be able to utilize sidewalks, parks, and walking trails for the majority of the race.
WHAT IF I CAN’T COMPLETE A CHALLENGE? If after several attempts, you are not able to complete a challenge, the challenge monitor can grant you a pass. You will receive an additional 3 minute penalty at that point.
DO TEAMS AND INDIVIDUALS COMPETE TOGETHER? No. There are separate categories for individuals (male & female) and for teams (male, female, and co-ed)
CITY CHALLENGE RACE TEAMS
City Challenge Race teams may consist of 2 to 4 participants.
There is a prize for largest team best team costume, and fastest all male teams, fastest all female teams, and fastes co-ed teams.
There are 8 total challenges in the race. Each team member must complete at least 2 of the challenges for your team to be eligiable to win.
