Flat Rock Brook's 7th Annual 5K Run
Sunday, August 12, 2018
Flat Rock Brook will hold its annual 5K “Run in the Wild” trail run on August 12th. The run begins at our visitor center and after a short street run enters the shaded and forested trails of our 150-acre preserve. The run provides participants with the uncommon experience of trail running through a nature preserve.
Proceeds benefit Flat Rock Brook Nature Center, a non-profit preserve and environmental education center. Registration fees are considered donations and are not refundable.
Please note, this is a Trail Run with Rough Terrain in some spots. Due to insurance and safety requirements, dogs, bicycles, skateboards, baby strollers, baby joggers, roller skates and roller blades are prohibited on trails. Our course is primarily shaded. Sunglasses are not recommended on our trail run as they will reduce visibility of the terrain.
All Pre-registrants have to be there by 8:00am to pick up bibs and T-Shirts. Runners signing up the day of the race must register between 7-8 a.m.;
