In September 2013, when Mason was 7 years years old we received the devastating and life altering news that Mason had developed a brain tumor. Prior to his diagnosis he was a healthy, active kid who loved playing baseball, hockey, golf, fishing with his grandparents and riding anything with wheels. Over the next 3 1/2 years, Mason fought to get better enduring more than most of us will ever experience in our lifetime. After two brain surgeries, six weeks of radiation and seven months of chemo, Mason’s battle came to an end just a few days shy of his 11th birthday in February of 2017. The Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST) helped us tremendously and we want to honor Mason’s legacy by giving back to this wonderful organization.
