MUD FAIR FUN RUN 2018
MudFair celebrates World Forum’s International Mud Day, designed to connect children with nature. We have added a extra event to this years Mud Fair - The Mud Fair Fun Run. It's a family fun-filled day where everyone is encouraged to get a little dirt on their hands and feet ! Start your day with 2 race options (See details below) and then after a fun run head to the mud pits, mud slide, and mud kitchen for more muddy fun activities. Enjoy live music, outdoor yoga, have lunch from the food trucks and browse the green market. Stop by the community art collaboration - Mud City, led by the art educators of Nature Kindergarten. Hose down with water-filled tanks before you head home.
Race Distance Options
Race ages are just a guideline for children that may want to do the race independently, however anyone is welcome to enter any distance they like and parents are encouraged to join in but do not need to register to run.
Option 1 - 700m forest loop recommended for ages 0-3 years. This is a fun out and back loop and is just enough to get the heart and excitment going before the mud fair.
Option 2 - 2.3Km loop round Red Deer Lake (This loop is recommeded for ages 4 and above) - This loop will challenge you and definitely get you all ready for the days events. Again, parents are welcome to join in but do not need to register to run.
All routes will be marked with pin flags and arrows as well as marshalls to help you and your children stay on course.
