USA Mitchell Cancer Institute

Physicians and other health professionals who are involved in women's health are well aware of the threat posed by gynecologic cancers. While quite treatable in the earlier stages, gynecologic cancers are especially deadly in the later stages- and one of the leading causes of cancer deaths among women in the United States.

Finding new means for early detection and treatments of gynecologic cancers has been a focus for the researchers and clinicians of the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute. The Gynecologic Cancer Research Endowment was created to support basic research, clinical trials and outreach programs. Thanks to donations made to this endowment, particularly those made through the annual GO RUN, new breakthroughs are being made!
