Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Beausejour
The international march where men wear red high heeled shoes in the hopes of ending violence.
Honorary Chairs Joe LeBlanc and Donald Cormier along with their supporters are challenging all men and boys in our communities to walk one mile in red high heel shoes to raise awareness and important funds to help build the new Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre Inc. set to open in 2019. They are asking for your support and commitment by challenging your co-workers, family, and friends to participate and to support your efforts through gathering pledges.
On October 12th 2018, men and boys will walk down main street, Shediac in solidarity as a symbol of their intolerance to violence in all of its forms and to show their support for those who suffer in silence. This event is an important occasion for men to model gender equality and charitable giving to boys and to the community at large across Southeast New Brunswick.
From July to October, men and boys can register to participate in Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Beausejour either as individuals or as teams and then collect pledges from loved ones, supporters, and co-workers.
Our goal is to raise $50,000! With 100 men participating we ask that each participant attempts to raise $500. You can do it!
Our team, Board of Directors, and clients thank you for your dedication and support.
