The Painted Pinky 5k

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.  YOU CAN STILL REGISTER IN PERSON ON SATURDAY NIGHT FROM 5-7:30pm at Canandaigua Crossfit (699 South Main St.), or Sunday morning at the Greenfront beginning at 7:30am.  

Join us for the first Painted Pinky 5k, a run/walk to support the prevention and education of the opioid crisis in our community.  The race will be held in conjunction with the Green Front car show.  Join us at 8:30am for a 5k run/walk through Canandaigua's historic streets, followed by the car show beginning at 11am.  

"The Painted Pinky 5k" is named in honor of a beloved member of the community who was known for her colorful nails, with exception of the pinky finger that was frequently painted black.  Sadly she lost her battle with addiction and passed away, and her friends and family have been painting their pinky nails black in her memory.  Her loved ones also created this event in her honor to raise funds to fight the opioid crisis in our community.

The run/walk begins at 8:30am in front of the Green Front Restaurant on Niagara Street, Canandaigua.  The first 200 participants are guaranteed at long sleeved tie-dye race shirt.  All participants will also receive custom pint glasses and post-race drink specials at the Green Front and the Niagara.
