Start your Christmas season by catching the Christmas spirits with us at Lake Thoreau! Lake Thoreau Environmental Center is partnering with Heritage United Methodist Church to provide a new fun holiday experience! Christmas spirits such as elves, Ghosts of Christmas Past and Present, Frosty the Snowman, and even Cousin Eddie will be wandering out in the forest at Lake Thoreau on December 1st. Racers have to find all of the Christmas Spirits and collect a Christmas goodie from them before crossing the finish line. Be careful though! If the Ghost of Christmas Future or the Grinch catches you then it will cost you time! After the race we will enjoy Christmas treats, hot cocoa, apple cider and can roast marshmallows. All proceeds go towards the Edwards Street Fellowship Food Pantry so we can help spread good cheer throughout our community. Take a break from your holiday hassles and catch some Christmas spirit with us!
