The Boys & Girls Club of Northwest MS first opened its doors in Batesville in 1999 as a summer program for youth. It has since expanded to be an after school program serving members in the South Panola School Districts. The Batesville Unit moved into a new clubhouse in 2005 and continues to serve youth ranging from 6 to 18 years old. Last year, it merged with other clubs into the Boys and Girls Club of the Delta but continues to serve the children of Batesville and the surrounding areas.
