Raise money for BCCDC Foundation for Population and Public Health
Our mission is to protect and promote health, prevent harm, and prepare for health threats across BC. We work in partnership with the BC Centre for Disease Control build partnerships and collaborations that advance public health in BC and beyond. We fund activities in five broad areas: research; personnel; capital, knowledge translation; and mobilization (e.g. emergency funding). Support of the BCCDC Foundation drives innovation in fighting infectious disease, environmental hazards, and preventing chronic health issues.
Public health is all of our responsibility. Whether it's staying home when you have the flu, staying up to date with your vaccinations, or taking care of the environment, we can all take part to improve our health and the health of our communities. Working as the charitable partner of the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) the BCCDC Foundation is driving innovation in how to keep everyone in BC as healthy as possible and make sure we don't get sick in the first place.
