Alem and I are running for WISH again this year. We'd love you help in hitting our goal. In doing that, you'll be helping to provide options for women who depend on WISH 365 days a year.
Description
WISH Drop-In Centre Society puts its mission, values, and core principles into action by providing services, supports and opportunities to women engaged in Vancouver’s street based sex industry. WISH offers a safe haven for sex-working women: a place to take a break, connect with colleagues and friends, get a bite to eat or access other, more specific kinds of support – in a safe, respectful, accepting environment. As a deeply respected member of the DTES community, WISH offers programs to serve immediate needs, while engaging in the ongoing advocacy required to shift societal prejudices that continue to put women at risk.
