I have been a volunteer with VOKRA for eight years and have seen, first-hand, the amazing work this organization does and the lives it changes. Yes, VOKRA saves and improves the lives of homeless and abandoned cats and kittens. But in doing so, VOKRA also has a huge impact on our human community members. The rescue work VOKRA does is both heartbreaking and inspiring. The job VOKRA volunteers do of matching people with the best cat or kittens for them is amazing. The education, support and consultation they provide owners post-adoption is unparalleled. And the community of caring individuals VOKRA brings together is vital.
Michele and I have had fostered approximately 150 cats and kittens since we started. We volunteer our time but the costs involved in feeding and providing medical care and more for these kitties is huge. My goal is to raise $10 for each of our fosters! Please help me raise funds for this worthy organization that is so close to my heart.
