As the Communications Coordinator at SCI BC, I get to work with amazing people who are there for those with a spinal cord injury, and their families, to help them adapt, adjust and thrive as they deal with the many challenges that come with living with an SCI or related disability! Whether you're seeking accessible housing, new friends who 'get' having a disability, opportunities to explore the outdoors in adapted recreation opportunities, or so much more, we provide them or will point you in the right direction! As a disabled person myself, I know exactly how important our services are! I wouldn't have found accessible housing without our Housing website, and wouldn't have a job that makes me enjoy work this much if I didn't get to come into this office each day.
