My Story…
Here's what I want for my 40th birthday: that everyone with SCI has the information and support they need to live a healthy, happy life - help me help SCI BC this year!
I consider it a success that we can celebrate with people with spinal cord injuries and diseases like mine surviving and passing milestones that many still don't realize are possible for us: graduation, marriage, family, career.
It takes a real and strong community around each person with spinal cord injury to adapt and thrive after a life changing disability. I should know - I'm turning 40 because of this kind of community. Help me make sure that community of support is there for everyone in BC who sustains or lives with a life-changing spinal cord injury or disease.
