Hi there -
I am excited to drag my dad-bod for 21.1km around Vancouver in support of Mission Possible once again. Mission Possible (www.mission-possible.ca) is a community economic development organization in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. It operates an employment readiness program and two social enterprises, which empower program participants through meaningful work. As those reading this likely know, it is extremely important to our family. Every day, Jasmine sees the impact of MP's work first-hand. This work depends on the generosity of donors like yourself. Mission Possible is taking a proactive approach to poverty and homelessness in the Downtown Eastside and beyond. By recognizing the lack of opportunities among this community and filling that niche in a safe, supportive way, we are making real change in the lives of individuals and in our neighbourhood as a whole.
