My Story…
Representing Scotiabank Oakridge and the East cluster Scotiabank group of branches, I am pleased to support the Learning Buddies Network programs with a 5K run for the at risk kids they serve.
Friends, family and Scotiabank co-workers, I invite you to Join me on race day or support my efforts to raise money in helping to strengthen a worthwhile cause in our community with a donation.
Providing children who need a little help with the tools they need to succeed in keeping up with their education, is something worth supporting. Early intervention is a key and with the help and generosity of caring individuals in a community, Learning Buddies are there for kids when they need it.

Your donation allows the Learning Buddies Network to build self-esteem and inspire a love of learning by providing free one to one tutoring and mentoring programs in reading and math for academically and socially fragile children in the Lower Mainland. And through a team of youth volunteers Learning Buddies can serve children in 8 elementary schools who would not otherwise receive the academic support they need.
