My Story…
Help build a new home for Nigel House: Debbie had a normal life growing up in Gordon Head. One morning, she woke up to a “numb” body, it was confirmed that Debbie had Multiple Sclerosis. Debbie has little use of her limbs; she lives in her wheelchair and has oxygen assist.
Debbie’s story is one of many of the people living at Nigel House. Each Nigel House resident has unique combinations of complex health conditions that compromise their ability to work and live independently. Their home Nigel House was built in the 1970’s and is beyond its useful life. Help us build a New Home for Nigel House which will include 41 residential care beds for Adults with Disabilities with ages ranging from 20 – 70 and will include 10 affordable housing units and 37 assisted living units.
