Help Carolyn raise money

Having been through 3 surgeries, radiation, chemo and a reoccurrence and as I also go through my next full round of tests again, hoping for no reoccurance, I still feel it is important to help fund a cure and research. I could not do the walk last year since I was recovering from surgery but many friends did it with me and other loved ones in mind. This walk I need to do especially in honor of two very dear friends I lost last year to colon cancer...Barb and Maysa Sahlool...both of whom I met while volunteering at Trillium, in Oncology. I started volunteering after I finished chemo as a kind of therapy. It got me out of the house, it gave me people to talk to and ironically I seemed to give hope to others dealing with cancer. The best part was meeting so many amazing people. Not just the healthcare team but most importantly the patients and the inspiring volunteers, mostly whom are in their 70's, 80's and even 90's!! I may have lost many friends to this disease but I also have several who are testing clear and doing great. I plan to be one of them!! So if you are able to, I hope you will donate to my "walk" (as I do not run!!) and help me raise funds for Colorectal Cancer Canada. I was the last one over the finish line last time and I intend to move up in the pack this year!!!
