As a Colorectal Cancer survivor, this is a cause close to my heart. As one of the lucky ones who beat this disease, I believe it is not only important to be grateful daily for my health but it is my duty to bring awareness to the disease. By participating in runs like this, money donated will go to Colorectal Cancer Canada. This non profit organization promotes awareness and supports and advocates for patients with this disease.
