About Doggies for Duchenne

Doggies for Duchenne was conceived as a 100% for-charity race benefiting two non-profit organizations in the Sarasota-Bradenton-Lakewood Ranch area:

The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch (501C3) –

The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch, (HSLWR) located in Lakewood Ranch, FL is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue and shelter organization that provides assistance and care for at-risk animals in Manatee and Sarasota counties. HSLWR will help to rescue and save thousands of animals in the coming years and assist their new adopted families/owners in being responsible and caring for them.

Another Day for Gray (501C3) –

Another Day for Gray is a local non-profit dedicated to raising awareness of and helping find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The organization is named for Grayson, a young local boy diagnosed with Duchenne more than a decade ago, but whose fearless determination has inspired action around the world in the fight against Duchenne.

Our fundraising goal for Doggies For Duchenne 2019 is to raise $21,000.00 to be split equally between the Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch and Another Day for Gray.
