Want to be a Hero for those coping with end of life issues in our community?

As a Hospice Hero, you'll raise funds for grieving families while you train and participate in the Race to Remember. The dollars that Heroes raise help ensure terminally ill patients are never turned away for an inability to pay. Your fundraising brings hope to grieving families.

Anyone can be a hospice hero! Hospice Heroes commit to raise a minimum of $250 and pay the registration fee of $50 upfront that goes toward their fundraising goal and secures their spot as a Hero on race day. Teams can also be recognized as hospice heroes, but they will only receive recognition on race day. The other benefits are for individuals only.

Invitation to pre-race pasta party and packet pick up
Race day recognition and Heroes Hospitality area access

Superhero Level ($1000 min. raised):

Shepherd's Cove Hospice is our area's ONLY nonprofit agency, which means that we rely on community support to provide quality, compassionate care for those coping with end of life issues in our 9 county service area.

Want to rally friends, family and coworkers to support your passion for Shepherd's Cove Hospice? Want to do more to provide compassionate care for your friends and neighbors that need quality end-of-life care? We'll give you tools to build your own Web page, send emails, set fundraising goals, collect donations and acknowledge your supporters. And all of the funds you raise help provide support to patients with life-limiting illness and their families.

The Race to Remember is in its 14th year of raising funds for Shepherd's Cove Hospice. We strongly encourage participants to ask for support from friends, family, co-workers, etc. not only because it helps raise more money, but also because it helps us educate more people about who we are and what we do!
