My Story…
My passion for quality, compassionate care at the end of life started with this event. Jefforey ran in the Race to Remember way back in the day in memory of his grandmother, Velvie. It was a cold, snowy day, and I knew then that Hospice of Marshall County had a commitment to excellence, and I wanted to be a part of it! I cheered him on that day, and after losing my precious Granddaddy, signed up to help with the race the next year. From there, I was asked to interview for a position they were creating, and I found my voice in advocating for the life-changing experiences provided by hospice care. God opened a door to a career that I love advocating for a mission I am called to serve. This is kingdom work-- caring for orphans, widows and those nearing their entrance to eternity. It's an amazing service, and we have served several loved ones since that first cold, snowy introduction. Shepherd's Cove is a vital community partner. Will you give join me in giving hope and compassion?
