Volunteer for the Racing Hearts 5k/10k!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering and enthusiasm for Racing Hearts. We are a 100% volunteer organization and wouldn't be able to put on this event without you!
Pre-volunteering and Day-of Events
We have need for volunteers both before the race and day-of the race. When you sign up, please check the dates and time to ensure that you are signing up for the shift that you want to work.
Assignment and Check-in
Our volunteer coordinator will contact you to confirm your assignment and time of arrival. Each volunteer is asked to check in by the designated time at the Volunteer Registration table. Training will start promptly, so please be on time!
If you have any questions, please contact the race director, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 650.308.4183.
More information about time and activities of the volunteer positions are below. When you sign up, you'll sign up for a shift rather than a specific role unless you are a biker or medical volunteer.
Help us mark the course for the runners so that they know where to go! We will be using chalk and/or cones to mark the route. Familiarity with Palo Alto and a bike is helpful for this activity! Course marking will take place on the morning of March 23, 2019.
Race Packet Pick-up
Give racers their race numbers and information for Sunday's race! Packet distribution will take place on the afternoon of March 23, 2019.
