Surrey Urban Mission Society (SUMS)

Surrey Urban Mission Society (SUMS) is a registered not-for-profit, volunteer-driven community service organization in the heart of Whalley providing some 300 meals each day, a staffed overnight shelter 365 nights of the year and distribution of donated clothing and personal necessities for guests. SUMS is a hub of support in the community. Case worker one-on-one visits, professional medical support and other helpful services are available for the SUMS guests. Caring hearts and hands help offer a foundation for change.            

Whether they be monetary, clothing or time, your contributions are most appreciated.

                Urgent needs this summer include: (clothing new or used)

• Men’s casual clothing, socks, light jackets         
• Undergarments (new) for men and women         
• Jeans, running shoes, travel-sized toiletries          
• Eggs – (an on-going supply would be most appreciated!)         
• Large bags of sugar          
• Paper dinner napkins     

So many needs, so little space to list!
