We ARE More alike than we are Different! I was nine years old, my warrior mum was abandoned with three hungry littles. In those days, (I am really old) women raising children on their own were less then, right here in Canada. Fast forward, life makes sense, everything you do today, prepares you for the next thing in a circuitous sort of way. Fifteen years ago I came face-to-face with nine-year old little girls all over the world that were being raised by single mum's who just needed an Opportunity - and Opportunity International was showing up - with compassionate capital, mentoring, coaching, support systems for those creative, entrepreneurial women that just wanted to be able to feed & clothe their children, buy their medicine, send them to school and provide a safe and healthy home, just like my mum did for us! So my mum and I continue to Give, Ride, Walk, Talk and Tell the Stories of this amazing families who are literally working their way out of Poverty. JOIN US!
