The Beaver Flat 50 is an outrageous run and outrageously fun. This is the best worst thing you'll do in September. It's wet shoes, ankle strain, sandy hands, scratched shins. It's hill repeats in the worst kind of way. It's off-camber very narrow animal trail. It's cacti, juniper bushes, rock, sand and water. But most important, it's fun.
If the 50km isn't for you yet, try the 20km, 10km or 5km. They're hard and fun too.
New for 2019:
- We will not be keeping a wait list. Register early to ensure you get a spot.
- There are no refunds.
- No deferrals. If you cannot make the 2019 race, your registration cannot be deferred to 2020.
- We will allow you to, in-year, transfer from one race distance to another, i.e., if you register for the 20km but your training doesn't go according to plan and you'd prefer to run the 10km race, that's allowed. Deadline for in-year transfers is September 1, 2019.
- We are introducing a Master's division - 40+
- We are tossing around the idea of some sort of chip timing.
- Racers 15 years old and under qualify for a 25% junior racer discount.
- Racers 15 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult support if attempting the 50km or 20km distance - no exceptions.
- We'll accept debit or credit for merch purchases.
Train hard. Run well. Be merry.
Please note: event organizers reserve the right to cancel the Beaver Flat 50 at any time for any reason, including inclement weather. But we'll do everything in our power to run the event before cancellation is considered.
