Bear and Red are two beautiful mountains just behind the heart of Mission, BC. These mountains feature perfectly designed single-track trails and offer stunning views of the lush forests and surrounding mountain ranges. These routes will tour you through mossy forests, tall trees, and openings displaying the surrounding mountain ranges. All distances are loop-based routes showcasing all different trails. There are no out-and-backs or double loops here, just beautiful flowy trails capturing new scenery the whole way through from start to finish. All distances will start and end at the main parking lot on Dewdney Trunk Road.
This race includes 3 distance options: 21 km, 12 km, and 8 km. As with all of our events, we also offer a free kids race following the start of the other distances. This is a fun run from 1-1.5 km on the trails and a great chance to bring the whole family and get involved! Pre-registration is not required for the kids race.

From here you are hitting some flowy downhill and smooth trails until the next brief climb before descending back towards the start line. Once you are back at the start you are 12km into your race and will grab any aid you need, say hello to friends, and cruise on through to the second half of your course! The second half features Red Mountain with its beautiful gradual climb, views of the Fraser Valley, and a fun variety of smooth and technical descents.
