Help Crystal raise money

If I make my goal of 1:10 for 10k I'm hoping for you to double your donation. My experince with mental health has been very up and down, just like my mood disorder Bipolar II. I'm so lucky to have had the support from my doctors, especially Dr. Nave and the late Dr. Robin Menzies, my many counselors and, most importantly, my support team of friends and family. I think often of the people in my life who have suffered, and continue to suffer, with mental illness. Mental illness runs in my family and I think often of my uncles who suffered from mental illnesses. I think of my friends who I have lost to mental illness. I think of Janis Joplin, Jimmie Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, & other brilliantly talented people who were haunted by mental illness. I run for all of these people. I share my story to end the stigma so that we can talk about mental illness the way we talk about diabetes, openly and with compassion rather than judgement. We've come a long way and we have more to go.
