Hospice Hawaii's 10th Annual Hot Pursuit
10th Annual Hot Pursuit
This ‘Amazing Race’ style event will include teams of 2-6 racing through Kakaako, cracking clues and performing fun physical tasks, all while raising funds for a great cause!
This year, Hospice Hawaii celebrates 40 years of providing compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families. We are a small non-profit organization with services on Oahu, Molokai, and Lanai. Our mission is to “Bring Hope, Reduce Fears and Impact Lives” by alleviating pain and enhancing quality of life.
The purpose of Hot Pursuit is to align with National Healthcare Decisions Day in April and start conversations about the importance of advance care planning. It also educates the community about end-of-life care and raises much needed funds to support our mission. Some areas that require funding include: individualized nursing care, medical supplies and equipment, pain and symptom management, complementary therapies, grief support, and Hawaii’s only specialized pediatric program.
(Jan 2 – March 29) - Each team must pledge to raise a minimum of $250
For those who wish to support Hot Pursuit but are unable to join the race. Fundraisers are still eligible for prize incentives.
