Great Dane Rescue Inc.

Great Dane Rescue Inc (GRDI), is a non-profit rescue established in 1993 dedicated to the re-homing of Great Danes in need.  Danes come into rescue, from owner surrenders, shelter referrals, and cruelty abuse/neglect cases.  All of our Danes, are cared for in foster homes as part of their foster's family,  while they receive all necessary medical care and undergo a full temperament test.  We then work, to match foster Danes, with their perfect forever homes.  We remain a support system for our adopted Danes and require Danes be returned to rescue if, adopters are no longer able to care for them.  GDRI also supports Dane owners, through education and support, especially for those adopters and owners of deaf and/or blind dogs. Since its inception, GDRI has NEVER turned away a dog due to medical need or potential cost and have helped dogs from severe abuse/neglect situations, helped Danes with broken legs, megaesophagus, tumours, joint issues, Addisons, Cushings, etc. As you can imagine, giant dogs equal giant medical bills, please help us to support Danes in need!
