My Story…
Dear loved ones,
I am going to attempt my first (sprint) triathlon in July! It is a fundraiser for the Sutter Institute for Health and Healing, which provides integrative healing services (therapeutic massage, nutritional consultation, psychotherapy and a wide range of body work services) for people diagnosed with cancer in Sonoma County.
Participating in this triathlon and supporting an agency that provides integrative cancer care is very meaningful to me, given that I was greatly supported by both conventional as well as alternative healing practices during my cancer journey. I see this triathlon as 1. a way to celebrate successfully completing my active cancer treatment, and 2. an opportunity to support others in their cancer recovery journey.
Cancer affects so many of us. Please consider supporting to a much needed cause!
