TEAM Dog Rescue

TEAM Dog Rescue is a grassroots, foster-based, Canadian registered charity dedicated to helping homeless dogs in our local communities find their forever homes. From a shared vision of caring and concern for all, TEAM emerged in 2012 in response to a growing need for support from local shelters. 

From the very beginning, our focus has been to deliver: 

• Education and outreach in our community 

• Emergency medical services for dogs in crisis 

• Safe havens for abandoned, medical and senior dogs 

• And strong adoption programs to ensure that every homeless dog transitions to a safe and loving home TEAM Dog Rescue provides medical care, behavioural assessments, ongoing training and a safe haven for our dogs as we work diligently to find them their ideal ‘furever’ homes. 

Our focus is on rescuing dogs locally first: from overcrowded and high-kill shelters in Ontario and Quebec, and in partnership with the Northern Dog Project. TEAM is run exclusively by volunteers, located throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas.
