BLACK CAT STRUT TRAIL 5k RUN/WALK

Here are a FYI's for the Black Cat Strut 5k trail run/walk on Sunday:

-The race is held at Red Mill County Park 0185 S Holmesville Rd, La Porte, IN 46350-There will be race day sign ups beginning at 8:15 am. Race day sign-up fees will be $25 cash or check for runners and $15 for walkers

-Race start is at 9 am Central Time (please note for those coming from Eastern Time Zone)

-Course will be wet and muddy so be prepare. You will be being completing TWO LOOPS around the park to obtain the 5k distance. There will be pink flags and signs to guide through the course. Please follow the course markings not the runner in front of you.

-Packet pick-up, race day sign-ups, food and bathroom are in the EEC building. To get to the building please enter at the SOUTH GATE and follow the gravel road. Gatorade, water, cookies and Gatorade will be provided after the race.

-I will be selling extra race t-shirts for $5 the proceeds will go to the ICS.

-We do old school timing after you finish you will receive a stick. That stick represents your overall placing in the race. Please turn this stick in ASAP and ONLY runners get a stick. Walkers you can across the finish line and head for the refreshment. There is no awards ceremony if you win overall female/male or age group you will receive the medal after you turn in your stick.

-Official finishing times will be posted on the web site www.crazylegsraceseries.info
