The 10th Anniversary of Perth's World Record Kilt Run!
Important things to note:
1. August 17: We have moved to a new month...a miraculous turn of events! Carpe Diem!
2. New Course: This may be the best one yet! Six crossings of the Tay River, Historic sites, and a wee taste of the Highlands! Come run again - for the first time!
3. NEW Cap Limit 1,743: In April 2019, we just received confirmation that our 2016 Perth Kilt Run has set the new official Guinness World Record of 3,670! Click Here Guinness Record In recognition, we have increased our cap to the level of our 2nd Guinness record set in 2012 (1,743)!
4. Kilt Orders: Sorry but we are not able to provide an option to order when you register this year. We do provide information below, where you may find a kilt on your own - if needed. Its the 10th Anniversary! There is bound to be something special* drawn before the final band stops playing at Freedom Fest - but, as always you have to be there to win! (* All will be revealed in due time!)
Refunds
We understand that plans change, but unfortunately to develop the event, we also make long term commitments with the registration fees as they are received. Certainly any technical error that has created a wrong payment, will be resolved - so please let us know about any error. But please also consider before you register, that if you cannot attend for whatever reason; it is not possible to receive a refund. Thank you for your kind understanding.
Race Requirements
The Perth Kilt Run prides itself on the adhering to certain high standards. Our runners have always been global leaders in displaying the best in Scottish fashion!
1. You MUST wear a kilt (kilt requirements are described below)
2. You must have fun.

Bib Pick Up
Race Day Check In
You must pick up your bib on Race Day at the Terrace Pavilion (Start Line area on Mill Street). Please ensure to come early (Open 12pm - 4pm on August 17 only)
*The race bib includes the timing chip on it

The Classic 8 km, start and finish at our special fantasy Start Line "castle" (on the Mill Street Bridge!).

Kilt Information
You MUST wear an approved kilt.
Basic kilt requirements are:
1) Pleated back
2) Apron front
3) Tartan

Sorry we are not able to provide a "registration kilt option" this year.

We have used Stillwater to fill last minute shortages on our main import order in the past - they have a great selection of low cost kilts, and we have found their timely service very good.
