We are looking forward to a fun and successful 5^thAnnual Kylie Rose’s Run! Here is some important information about the weekend.

·Packet Pick Upwill be Saturday, August 24 in Copley High School’s Parking Lot from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.It will also be Sunday, August 25 from 2:00-3:45.

·Please bring an item or two (WITH TAGS) to help Kylie’s Bags of Lovefor ALL patients in the hospital (boy/girl socks, small stuffed animals, card games, play dough, small crafts, chap stick, nail polish, journals, pens, coloring books, etc). We hope to stuff 400 Bags of Love.

·If you would like to be part of a special Video that Project Outrunwill be taking and sending to Nike, please be in the stadium on Sunday  by 3:35. Please wear your Kylie shirt and if you ordered the KR5Ks, please wear or bring them!! This is going to be AWESOME!!!

·Project Outrun Heroes and Akron Children’s Hospital Super Heroes, will be kicking off our 5K with a special run. We are excited to show them how proud we are of them and let them know how much they inspire us!!!!!

Kylie Roses Run was inspired by Kylie and her family during her fight against cancer. She and her family put on an annual 5K & Family Fun Run that benefits Akron Children's Hospital's Oncology Department. Kylie also decided to make Kylie's Bags of Love, which are bags stuffed with fun items for the children in the hospital.

Kylie Rose’s Run is celebrating its 5th Annual 5K event.  Kylie Rose Jacobs, at the age of five, was diagnosed with cancer on January 6, 2015 and has since been treated at Akron Children’s Hospital.  This year’s race proceeds will directly support the patients and their families and will help fund pediatric cancer research

Please note that this race has raised in excess of $72,000 that has been donated to Akron Children's Hospital! 

The event will take place in the Copley High School football stadium. The 5K will start and end in the stadium. There will be family/kid activities held in the stadium during all runs. We had so many families and kids participate in the Family Fun Run last year! It was so fun and we learned a lot. We will be having a Competitive 1 Mile Run as well as a Citizens 1 Mile. You may decide the day of the event which run your family wants to participate in. 

5K Run – Start time 4:00

Competitive 1 Mile Run – Start time 5:00 pm

To start in the Competitive 1 Mile you must:

**Plan to run the 1 Mile in under 15 minutes.

Citizens 1 Mile – Start Time 5:20

This 1 Mile start will be for all walkers/runners who do not plan to complete all four laps or plan to go beyond the 15 min time limit!

Please note that if you cannot attend the event but would like to support the cause and receive the shirt you can register for the Virtual Run. We will send you your shirt after the race.

**All participants will receive a shirt and canvas bag

**Please note that this is a stroller friendly course. Strollers can also participate in the Citizens 1 Mile.

**Saturday from 9:00-2:00 in the Copley High School parking lot. We will be located by the stadium in the back of the parking lot. Look for the canopy.
